Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a litigation paralegal to join a DC public interest law firm. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys, perform research, cite-check briefs, and assist with trial prep!
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Attend and report on regulatory commission meetings
  • Cite-check and proofread briefs and pleadings
  • Assist with discovery and trial prep
  • Perform legal research and compile key findings
  • Manage case materials including pleadings, files, calendars, and other materials
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience in regulatory work and with FERC is preferred
  • Proficient with blue book cite checking
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • High-level of professionalism, ability to thrive under pressure, and ability to handle high-stress situations with diplomacy and tact
