Job Description

The Ford Agency is recruiting for experienced candidates to provide sales and business development to a non-partisan, tech oriented, think tank based in North Bethesda. This role will focus mainly on driving product interest to corporate and federal consumers interested in innovative technology platforms spanning the legislative informational space. This is an outstanding role for an ambitious and self-motivated individual who wants to be a part of watching an innovative product achieve success! If you have a successful sales track record and know the ins and outs of the federal space, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
  • Prospect, qualify, and cultivate new sales leads
  • Broaden network connections and regularly meet with potential clients
  • Demo products to prospects and follow up
  • Attend networking events and tradeshows on behalf of organization
  • Identify new avenues and opportunities to expand client base
Qualifications Include:
  • Prior experience in government, policy, political campaigns or related field
  • Experience working with customers and clients in federal government
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships
  • Ability to manage full sales lifecycle
  • Professional communication skills
  • Experience with CRMs and other databases

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
