Accounts Payable Specialist

The Ford Agency is actively looking for an accounts payable professional to join the finance team of a prominent Bethesda based firm. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, with an emphasis in accounts payable processing, along with demonstrated working knowledge of Concur.   This is a temp-to-hire position and is available immediately.

Responsibilities Include:

• Route and process incoming invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals

• Review and process expense reports in accordance with travel and expense policies

• Assist with department policy and best practices

• Reconcile corporate credit cards  and recurring payments

• Maintain files and records for invoices and supporting documents 

• Manage vendor relationships 

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred  

• 3+ years' corporate accounting and accounts payable experience

• Experience working in Concur, Sage Intacct required

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
