Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively seeking professional and driven Business Development candidates to join a prestigious DC law firm. This individual will handle market research, stay on top of industry trends, identify new clients, and help drive revenue growth for the firm. If you have at least 3 years of legal marketing or business development experience and are ready for that next step, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities Include:
  • Identify prospective clients and new opportunities to engage with existing clients
  • Create pitches and proposals for clients and audiences
  • Conduct market research on industry trends
  • Track pitches and evaluate strategy success
  • Collaborate with attorneys on thought leadership and training aligned with client needs
  • Draft and manage survey, rankings and award submissions
  • Create content collateral for the firm
  • Coordinate events and speaking engagements to highlight the firm for potential clients
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of business development and/or marketing experience
  • Experience working at an AMLaw 100 Firm strongly preferred
  • Professional communication skills and client service oriented personality
  • Knowledge of legal market and industry trends
  • Advanced research skills
  • Experience with Westlaw, Docket Navigator, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and other electronic resources
  • Proficiency with CRM databases
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
