Job Description

The Ford Agency is collaborating with one of DC's top law firms to find an experienced and professional HR Specialist for its team. While this role will oversee a range of HR functions, the focus will be on leave management. If you have at least three years of experience in the legal HR field, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage all employee leave benefits, including workers comp, FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.
  • Conduct new hire orientations for staff and attorneys
  • Oversee employment verification process and audit the Firm's org charts
  • Plan and execute HR programs such as staff celebrations and awards
  • Oversee personnel files and offboarding process
Qualifications Include:
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a legal environment; supervisory experience required
  • Extensive experience managing employee leave benefits
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong command of the principles and practices of personnel administration
  • Leadership skills and confidence to spearhead HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
