Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a professional Litigation Case Manager candidate to join a collaborative, mid-size DC law firm. This individual will assist the litigation team with cite-checking, preparing documents for filing with courts and federal agencies, and will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the litigation process.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare documents for court filings and agency filings

  • Edit, proofread, and cite-check documents

  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, outside agencies, co-counsel, and opposing counsel

  • Conduct research utilizing legal databases and other electronic search tools


Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 6+ years of legal assistant or case management experience

  • Excellent bluebook cite-checking experience

  • Professional communication skills

  • Experience with Westlaw, LEXIS, and other legal databases

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
