The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a professional Paralegal with strong cite checking and blue booking experience to support a dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in collaborative and motivated environment. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of paralegal experience looking to grow with a sharp and talented team.
Responsibilities Include:
Legal research and case document management
Draft and review legal documents
Thorough cite checking, blue booking and general preparation of all briefs
Manage full-cycle litigation discovery process
Maintain all case production logs, deposition calendars, exhibits, etc.
Act as mentor to junior staff and provide general team support
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree
Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Cite Checking, Bluebook, and California Style Manual experience preferred
Trial and/or arbitration experience strongly preferred
Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, eDiscovery, Lexis, Westlaw
Professional communication skills and excellent organizational skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
