Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively seeking a sharp and poised Legal Recruiting Coordinator for a top DC law firm. The Senior Coordinator will handle the fall recruitment, summer associate programs, recruiting cycle for lateral associate and other attorney roles, and mentoring team members.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with the team to plan the summer program, organize and monitor summer events, prepare orientation schedules, assist with coordinating summer assignments, prepare for mid and end of summer reviews, and summarize program survey
  • Prepare the budget for the summer program and track spending
  • Assist with the management of the fall recruitment program: liaise with law schools, register for on-campus interview and job fairs, coordinate and attend recruitment events, schedule callback interviews, and serve as a point of contact for candidates
  • Recruit and onboard judicial clerks, lateral associates, and attorneys
  • Train and mentor team members on procedures and databases
  • Assist with special projects
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of legal recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of attorney recruiting processes and summer associate programs
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management sills, ability to juggle competing priorities
