Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a professional Senior Trademark Paralegal to join a busy Trademark Prosecution practice group at a leading DC law firm. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of Intellectual Property and Trademark experience to work alongside a collaborative and close knit team of professionals with a great work environment!

Responsibilities Include:

Handle trademark preparation and filing with USPTO and foreign trademark offices
Utilize trademark search reports
Manage all trademark related documents
Handle tracking and deadlines for docket entries
Update and coordinate with clients on trademark processing status

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of domestic or international trademark experience
Experience with USPTO and IP docketing systems, TTAB experience a plus
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Professional communication skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
