The Ford Agency is actively recruiting a Senior Analyst to join the Strategic Pricing team at a prestigious corporate law firm. The Analyst will lead the team in developing Alternative Fee Arrangements, collaborate with key stakeholders, and establish best practices for AFAs. This is a unique role for someone with financial analytics experience who is a professional communicator and is able to distill complex quantitative and qualitative concepts to internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and evaluate alternative fee arrangements (AFAs)
Collaborate with key stakeholders including attorneys to develop profitable AFAs
Communicate the benefits and potential risks of AFAs (i.e. fixed fees, partial and full contingent matters, and blended rates)
Ensure fee proposals are consistent with the Firm's initiatives
Collaborate with marketing, accounting, and other departments to optimize best practices
Qualifications Include:
Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or related field
3+ years financial analytics
Law firm experience strongly preferred
Experience developing alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) highly desirable
Professional communication and ability to summarize complex quantitative concepts
Ability to transform and manipulate data
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience with SQL and Tableau strongly preferred
Financial modeling
