Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Specialist. The Specialist will conduct thorough research into new business, create reports for attorneys, and will have a solid understanding of the complex nature of global business relationships. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of conflicts research experience within a law firm. Responsibilities Include:
  • Research digital and print databases to determine and analyze client conflicts of interest
  • Collaborate with other departments for data cross-referencing
  • Create detailed reports of client/business relationships 
  • Assist in training of new Conflicts team members
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 2+ years of direct legal conflicts research experience
  • Familiarity with conflict checking systems and databases
  • Advanced research and analytical skills
  • Professional writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize independently

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
