The Ford Agency is recruiting for a legal Library Researcher to support a DC based law firm. Our client is seeking a candidate with prior legal research and strong skills in Westlaw, Lexis, and Pacer. This is an open ended temporary role and a great opportunity to work with a strong global firm handling complex cases. If you have at least 1 year of legal research experience and are looking to start working immediately with a great team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct legal and non-legal research using online and print resources
Monitoring status updates of case dockets, relevant current news, and regulations, etc.
Manage library requests and document needs for attorneys
Assist with special related projects as needed
Qualifications Include:
Minimum of 1 year experience with legal research, 3+ preferred
Experience with Westlaw, Lexis, and Pacer highly preferred
MLS preferred, BA required
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
