The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for an experienced Docketing Clerk for a well-regarded DC law firm. This is a great role for a docketing professional with at least 2 years of experience who is looking to start working immediately with a great team. This is a temporary role and has a hybrid work model and is scheduled to last for 4+ months.
Responsibilities Include:
Enter deadlines and other details regarding domestic and foreign trademark applications and registrations
Manage domain registration database
Create letters for issuance of trademark registration certificates
Consistently review docket to make sure all deadlines are met
Notify attorneys and paralegals of upcoming deadlines
Supporting other projects and internal teams as needed
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
2+ years' experience in a docketing position
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of docketing software and CPI experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
