Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Specialist. The Specialist will conduct thorough research into new business, create reports for attorneys, and will have a solid understanding of the complex nature of global business relationships. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of conflicts research experience within a law firm. If you have strong analytical, research, and writing skills and are looking to join a fast-paced collaborative team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:

Research digital and print databases to determine and analyze client conflicts of interest
Collaborate with other departments for data cross-referencing
Create detailed reports of client/business relationships
Assist in training of new Conflicts team members

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of direct legal conflicts research experience
Familiarity with conflict checking systems and databases
Advanced research and analytical skills
Professional writing and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize independently
