Job Description
The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist for a prestigious law firm. This individual will play an integral role in developing firm initiatives to attract and retain diverse candidates, develop and monitor diversity reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure that the firm is continuing to position themselves as a diverse and inclusive workplace. The Specialist will have at least 2 years of experience working on diversity initiatives, preferably with a law firm or other professional services firm, and will be able to work with people from different backgrounds. This is a fantastic role for an individual to develop first-in-class diversity strategies at a top notch firm.
Responsibilities Include:
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.

Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with Manager to design, implement and communicate firmwide D&I events and programs
- Collaborate with recruiting team to attract and retain a diverse candidate pool
- Develop ways to track firm's progress with attracting and hiring diverse candidates
- Collaborate with internal teams to create diversity and inclusion programming
- Collaborate with the communications team to create materials highlighting the firm's efforts in diversity and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of diversity and inclusion experience
- Law firm strongly preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience working with learning management software and content creation tools
- Ability with data management and reporting
