Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for an articulate and poised HR focused Data Analytics professional to provide information and analytical insights for the HR team at a top DC law firm. This individual will work with internal teams and to gather relevant datasets, create visual representations, and present key insights to HR and leadership teams. This is a terrific opportunity for a data analyst who is focused on the HR space and enjoys presenting insights and trends to key decisionmakers!
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs
  • Use Python for data analysis, automations, and advanced modeling
  • Write complex SQL queries for transformation, optimization, and data extraction
  • Provide insights to leadership based on data analysis to inform decisions and improve operations
  • Design and implement models to forecast trends
  • Maintain and update documentation for data sources, methods, and
  • Assist with strategic and analytical needs for chapters to promote growth and member engagement
  • Collaborate with the data management team to design, and refine reporting for the team and the chapters it supports
  • Present reports and key findings to Board members and chapter leadership
  • Analyze trends and communicate insights to internal and external teams
  • Collect data and analyses for leadership, chapters, and internal teams
  • Assist with other projects as needed
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years in business intelligence or HR data analytics roles
  • Strong data analytics experience and ability to visualize data
  • Proficiency in: SQL, PowerBI, Python, R, MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint), Tableau
  • Experience with UKG or other HRIS strongly preferred
  • Experience with Aderant preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and strong customer focus
 
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
