Commercial Real Estate Research Specialist

The Ford Agency is recruiting for a savvy Market Research Specialist for a commercial real estate and sustainability non-profit. The Market Research Specialist plays a crucial role in conducting primary research and utilizing secondary research to inform opportunities for growth by conducting thorough data analysis and developing data visualizations and presentations for leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a market research professional who has experience in the commercial real estate industry to join a team committed to sustainability. This is a 6-month temporary position and is available immediately.  

Responsibilities Include: 

• Research industry organizations to inform strategies and identify opportunities for growth 
• Design surveys, interviews and other research methods to create insights 
• Forecast macro trends, including analyzing competitor pricing and go-to-market strategies 
• Develop dashboards and other data visualization tools to forecast demands and revenue to drive decisions and inform leadership 
• Conduct thorough data analysis in Excel, Python, and SQL 
• Collaborate with product managers and other teams for go to market plans and product development 

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree a plus 
• Marketing, business or related field 
• 5+ years of experience conducting business related research and analysis 
• Direct experience in sustainability, commercial real estate, infrastructure, or related fields required 
• Experience with portfolio planning or investment decisions, including regulatory drivers 
• Excellent at analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of information into organized reports 
• Technical skills: 
  • MS Office Suite 
  • SQL, Python 
  • Tableau, Power BI, or similar 
  • Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar 
  • Salesforce, preferred 

This is a temporary position and is available immediately. Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.?
