The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal Services Manager to join the D.C. office of a busy global law firm. This role supports the firm's leadership through overseeing the workload and day-to-day activities of its paralegal corps. This is a busy and hands-on role that is perfect for someone who likes to be all-in and has excellent organizational, management, and strategic thinking skills. If you have extensive experience managing paralegals and are looking to jump in and truly lead a team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee paralegal's progress of ongoing projects, and day to day operations
Collaborate with attorneys to understand workflow needs and staff paralegals accordingly
Recommend and implement changes to the professional development of paralegals
Evaluate performance and lead the performance review process
Address last minute ad hoc team needs or issues as presented
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree
8+ years of paralegal administration
3+ years of supervisory experience
Direct experience managing paralegals or legal staff required
Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate all levels of staff
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
