Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a part-time Finance Manager to work for a financial services firm that provides accounting and HR services to non-profit organizations. This individual will work with clients to ensure data and reporting accuracy and overall financial compliance. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with a solid payroll or accounting background who is looking to work about 5-10 hours/week. This is a remote opportunity, but the individual must be located on the East Coast.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
  • Verify financial transactions including payroll, GL postings, AP and AR
  • Process payroll and collect timesheets
  • Retrieve credit card and other transactions for the finance team to reconcile
  • Process retirement account contributions
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years accounting experience
  • Non-profit experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP or Paychex
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
