Trademark Docketing Clerk

The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a Trademark Docketing Clerk to join a busy DC law firm. This is a great role for an individual who has at least 1 years of docketing experience and is looking to start working immediately with a great team. This is a direct hire role, has a hybrid work model, and is available immediately.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare client updates on domestic and foreign trademark applications

• Correct database errors and maintain well organized system

• Enter deadlines and other details regarding domestic and foreign trademark applications and registrations

• Notify attorneys and paralegals of upcoming deadlines

• Create status reports as needed

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred

• 1+ years' experience of trademark experience in a law firm 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment

• Experience with WebTMS

• Familiarity with trademark prosecution filing requirements and processes

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
