The Ford Agency is actively looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the accounting team of an Alexandria, VA based non-profit. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting electronic invoices, expense reports, month end reporting, and other accounting projects. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with at least two years of accounts payable experience, who is looking to work immediately in a mission-driven environment. This is a temporary position and is available immediately.
Responsibilities Include:
Reconcile invoices for vendors
Process expense reports
Assist with month and year end reports
Interact with vendors and program staff
Assist with accounting projects as needed
Qualifications Include:
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Proficient in MS Excel, ADP experience a plus
Strong attention to detail, analytical and research skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
