Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support one of the program teams of a global non-profit based in DC. This role will touch on various aspects of administrative support and have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, mission oriented professionals. This is a great temporary opportunity for someone with 1-4 years of previous administrative experience to contribute to a meaningful mission!

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage busy calendar scheduling and meeting planning for busy team
  • Take notes during meetings and draft documents and presentations
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, travel, and team training
  • Collaborate with team on various projects and activities 
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of administrative support experience
    • Non-profit administrative experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
