The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a smart and organized professional to join the professional development team at a prestigious DC law firm. The Coordinator will collaborate with leadership to assist with attorney onboarding and orientations, bar renewals, and the mentorship program. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of administrative experience in a professional environment. Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate attorney onboarding, including welcome communications, scheduling orientations, and other logistics to ensure a smooth transition
Monitor and document development milestones for legal staff including onboarding, discussions about development, and readiness for promotion
Assist with bar renewals, bar payments, tracking bar membership statuses
Coordinate the mentoring program, including coordinating welcome lunches and aiding in mentor pairings
Assist with other projects and professional development initiatives
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience in a professional environment, HR or Professional Development experience a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Ability to multi-task with strong customer service skills
Strong MS Office skills
Experience with Workday or ViRecruit a plus
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
