Senior Litigation Docket Clerk
Job Description
The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a Litigation Docketing Clerk for the NYC office of a well-regarded DC law firm to start immediately. This role will work closely with the team to process complex filings, and notify key team members of upcoming deadlines and other details pertaining to filing in various jurisdictions. This is a great role for a docketing professional with at least 4 years of experience who is looking to join a great team.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage deadlines and other details in the firm's docketing calendar
- Oversee e-filing and maintain litigation docket
- Review daily and weekly litigation calendars and correct any discrepancies
- Conduct docket research across platforms for procedural guidance and case strategy
- Process complex filings
- Notify appropriate team members about deadlines and other important details to ensure that filings are submitted correctly and on time
- Maintain up to date knowledge on industry trends and best practices
- Train and mentor junior staff
- 4+ years' experience in a litigation docketing position in a law firm
- Up to date knowledge of federal, state, and local rules of practice and procedures
- Advanced skills with Pacer, Westlaw, and Lexis
- Experience with eDockets, CompuLaw, Milana, or MA3000 preferred
- In-depth knowledge of e- filing requirements for Federal CM/ECF system and NY State Courts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
