Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join an Alexandria, VA based non-profit. This role supports office operations with filing, data entry, phone handling, and coordination, working onsite with strong attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn and think creatively. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with at least one year of Administrative Assistant experience, who is looking to work immediately in a mission-driven environment.  This is a temporary position and is available immediately.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform general filing and organize physical/digital documents
  • Enter and update data accurately in systems
  • Answer and route phone calls as needed
  • Support daily office coordination tasks
  • Collaborate on administrative priorities
  • Maintain onsite office organization and supplies
Qualifications Include:
  • 1+ years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to learn, ask questions, and think outside the box

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
