The Ford Agency is actively seeking professional and driven Business Development Manager candidates to join the DC office of a successful global law firm. This individual will work closely with attorneys to develop business development goals, initiatives, and strategies to generate new business and engage with existing clients. This is a great opportunity for a business development professional to gain leadership experience and take their career to the next step with a top DC law firm!
Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with attorneys to coordinate business development strategies
Collaborate with senior attorneys on business plan development
Develop and manage team budgets
Identify prospective clients and new opportunities to engage with existing clients
Create pitches and proposals for clients and audiences
Work with team leaders for quarterly presentation and reporting to the Management Committee
Create content collateral for the firm
Train and mentor business development team members
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
Advanced degree preferred
3+ years of business development and/or marketing experience in a professional services environment preferred
Experience working at an AMLaw 100 Firm strongly preferred
Professional communication skills and client service oriented personality
Proficiency with CRM databases
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
