Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively seeking professional and driven Business Development Manager candidates to join the DC office of a successful global law firm. This individual will work closely with attorneys to develop business development goals, initiatives, and strategies to generate new business and engage with existing clients. Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with attorneys to coordinate business development strategies
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on business plan development
  • Develop and manage team budgets
  • Identify prospective clients and new opportunities to engage with existing clients 
  • Create pitches and proposals for clients and audiences
  • Work with team leaders for quarterly presentation and reporting to the Management Committee
  • Create content collateral for the firm
  • Train and mentor business development team members

Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of business development and/or marketing experience in a professional services environment preferred
  • Experience working at an AMLaw 100 Firm strongly preferred
  • Professional communication skills and client service oriented personality
  • Proficiency with CRM databases

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
