Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Attorney. This role will conduct high-level conflicts analysis and work closely with colleagues to move clients through the conflicts process. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced law clerk with strong analytical, research, and writing skills who is looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative team.

Responsibilities Include:
    • Analyze and source data for existing or potential conflicts
    • Draft related documents and assess next steps as necessary
    • Maintain conflicts database, managing firm clients, clients' subsidiaries, and affiliates' information
    • Navigate ethics walls and screens
    • Oversee the work of non-attorney staff in support of conflicts resolutions

Qualifications Include:
    • Law degree from accredited institution and local Bar membership
    • 3+ years conflicts experience
    • Familiarity with DC Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent from other jurisdictions
    • Advanced legal research and analytical skills
    • Professional writing and communication skills
    • Experience with Intapp OPEN or similar 
    • Supervisory experience a plus

Candidates for this position must be based in the DMV, New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. Salary is dependent on experience and location.
