Healthcare Policy Specialist

The Ford Agency is actively seeking a senior policy professional to join one of the nation's top legislative teams at a DC law firm. This individual will work with a variety of clients on healthcare policy issues. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a healthcare policy portfolio looking to take on a visible role in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment!

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans on healthcare policy issues 
• Communicate with clients and internal teams
• Mentor junior policy staff
• Stay up to date with healthcare legislation and regulations 
• Assist with other policy initiatives 

Qualifications Include: 

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of policy experience
• Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations
• Strong understanding of the federal legislative process
• Experience with healthcare policy required
• Professional communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
