Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Legal HR Assistant to join a top DC law firm. This individual will provide support throughout the attorney lifecycle at the firm, onboarding, promotions, departures, and everything in between. This is a great opportunity for someone with about a year of administrative experience, who is interested in HR or personnel management. 

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the evaluation and promotion process for attorneys
  • Support the onboarding process for lateral and associate new hires
  • Track leaves of absences
  • Draft documentation with attorney changes (new hires, promotions, departures, etc.)
  • Manage the team's inbox and respond to inquiries
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Team-oriented mentality

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
